OK, I'm going to jump right in and start by telling you about the three basic body types...these body types are important if you want to learn how to lose fat and find a suitable diet. The three basic body types are Endomorph, Ectomorph and Mesomorph. Losing the fat, finding the right diet and obtaining that lean body often depend on what type of body you have. Now, a quick explanation of what these body types are and how they work. Endomorphs are characterized as having the most trouble losing body fat. Weight loss is a constant struggle for the Endomorph, they tend to have more body fat, lower motivation and a slower metabolism. Endomorphs have a round physique with a flabby body, wider hips, big waist and high number of fat cells. The best way for Endomorphs to lose fat is to eat lower calorie foods, more carbs and perform low intensity but high duration physical activity. Also, Endomorphs should regularly eat fruits and vegetables, as well as other low calorie foods. The Endomorphs diet should be (approximately) more than half carbs, 35% protein and about 10% fats. Now, an Ectomorph is characterized as being skinny with an overly fast metabolism. The Ectomorph has problems gaining fat and muscle, not losing it. And last, the Mesomorph is characterized as having everything we all want! They are muscular and fit in all aspects of their body. Since Ectomorphs and Mesomorphs aren't fat we won't focus too much on these body types. But if you are one of those body types, stick around because I'm sure there is information here that can help you with your fitness needs. So, back to the Endomorph body type and how to lose weight. Some exercises that you can do to start getting the weight off and keep it off. Start out slow and do not over train! Walking is a great place to start, or even jogging. One of my personal favorites is the punching bag...not only are you getting a good cardio workout, but you are also taking out frustration and relieving stress! These are only a few of many, but you see where I'm going with this. More cardio less weight! Another thing I like to do from time to time is go on a fast. I do an apple fast where I drink only water and eat only apples for three days. And No Cheating! No other foods like snack cakes or fried chicken! You can do this and eat a few more foods with your apples, but I would limit the other foods to things like grapes or other similar fruits. Fasting with only apples is good because it soaks up all the pollutants and flushes your system. You will get clearer skin and lose about five pounds in those three days! You can't ask for much more than that! It's time for you to get on a good workout routine and start shedding those pounds! Until next time, happy fat loss.
