5 Ways To Get Rid Of Belly Fat

Today I'm going to post, what I believe, are the 5 best ways to get rid of belly fat. The 5 that I am going to describe are used by me personally. I decided to do a post on belly fat because it is one of the most common complaints of people overweight.

1. Ab Exercises - I know what you are thinking. You're joking, right? I'm not. Ab exercises, if done right, can give you that flat stomach you want. I will give you some tips on what exercises to do to flatten out your stomach.
  • Crunches and sit-ups - Do regular forward crunches as well as side crunches (For side crunches, put one hand behind your head and the other flat, straight out. Point directly to the left or right. Alternate between hands.) Now, do the crunches at an angle. If your right hand is behind your head, then crunch toward your left knee.
  • Side bends - While standing, hold a dumbbell in one hand and bend your body, either to the right or the left (depending on which hand you have the dumbbell in).
  • Standing Twists - While standing with a straight bar or broomstick (better with something that has weight to it) behind your head, resting on your shoulders, twist your torso from left to right. Also, you can do standing crunches with the bar. Twist down and to the left and right while looking at your feet.
  • Medicine ball circles - While sitting flat on your butt, take either a medicine ball or some type of weight and do circles from behind your head to around in front of you (straight out from your chest). Make sure to have you legs straight out and your back straight up and down.

3. Diet - Like I have mentioned before...you need to cut out sugar and eat a proper diet. Again, reduce the calories you are taking in. A proper diet will do more than take off that belly fat! A good diet will give you energy, better health and better looks.

4. Reduce Stress - This one is very important! When you are stressed your body releases hormones that will pack on the fat. These hormones really attack the belly area. Meditation or 10-15 minutes of alone time a day can greatly reduce stress. In those 10-15 minutes try to clear your mind and relax your entire body. Stay active and schedule activities everyday. Find something you really like and find time for that everyday. Try to find something that will allow you to be active.

5.Water - Yeah I know what you're thinking. You are probably thinking that it is not that important and shouldn't be on this list. Well, water does wonders for your body and I guarantee you if you drink more than usual you will start to lose that belly fat.

Aside from the 5 things that I have listed, you need to get on a regular exercise routine. Think of it this way, you are going to get more than just a nice body. You will be healthier and have more energy. Other than all of that you can try
